[journal] I'm slowly adding things to my life as I get more used to living here. For example, when I first got here, it was only eating out. I had no time or energy to make my own food. Then I did grocery shopping and bought tons of instant noodles. Now I'm finally adding real food to my diet.

One thing that bothers me is you never know what kind of meat you're buying. I thought I was buying beef for example until I fried it up and it turned out to be lamb, smelly, smelly lamb. Also, doesn't the meat on the bottom of the next picture look like bacon? I was really craving it.

When I cooked it, it fried into a greyish colour and tasted NOT like bacon.

So far I haven't gone wrong with steak or chicken though. Both have been delicious.
