I love Korean food, it is so amazing. Tonight I went out with Susie (one of my best friends) and had some Korean eats, and oh did we eat! Not only can you find amazingly tasty Korean food here, you can find it C-H-E-A-P!! (On a side note: Joe, I MUST bring you to this Korean restaurant! It's so good, and there are a million things you can choose from!)
I can honestly say I would never have stopped for some kimchi chigae (it's a kimchi tofu stew-my fav korean dish) or dolsot bibim bap if it wasn't for my best friend Minho who happens to be half Korean. He's awesome, and because of him, I've been introduced to my favorite food. I love all foods, but I'm just hung up on this one. People say you should "always try new things" but why not try new things while enjoying the old?
You can always enjoy everything, but for most things, I wouldn't be able to eat them every day... On the other hand, with Korean food, it's so good, light and tasty, I feel like I could have it every day. The little side dishes, the little portions, the meat, veggies, tofu, seasame, I could go on. I crave it every day, and if only I had a friend who wasn't embarrassed about always wanting to eat it, I would go with them every day.
