The class I'm in sort of turned into what I hated about highschool. It became catty and cliquey. I couldn't write a good speech. I didn't feel like the class really connected. There was nothing special I could say about the class. It was a very lame speech. I ditched the idea and instead grabbed a binder, wrote people's names on each page, bought stickers, and wrote instructions on the first page. The idea was to write nice things about other people in the class (annonymous or signed) and pass it around the class. At the end of the year you take the pages that belong to you. I figured with the class segregation that this would be the easiest and nicest thing that people could gain for a year end sort of thing. The book idea worked, and some people have up to four pages written about them.
