American Idol [commentary]
Well its almost that time again when america decides who will be its next pop icon superstar. everything on t.v. nowadays is decided by the public. i must admit that i'm addicted to these strange audience participation or reality shows, yet i still have a beef with how all the networks are cashing in on its popularity. if they all somehow decided and agreed on not producing said shows so much, then in the long run audience/reality shows will stay popular for a lot longer, but by overkilling our exposure to it they are shortening its popularity lifespan significantly. i guess it all relates back to the
game theory where everyone can't trust each other so they all go for the quick cash, but if everyone had mutually opted to share they would make a lot more money. anyways, i wanted to share with you that one of the finalists was nabbed by the celebrity justice site
the smoking gun for many charges including assaulting his teenage sister.
update: i got my days messed up, so american idol isn't on. today is monday joe, not tuesday, monday.
